In addition to the wall team members also have access to a team specific forum, access to which is restricted to team members only. Admin access to the aforementioned forums is given to team admins and 5laps.com adminstrators.

Team points
A team scores points for the races its drivers attend to. Only the three best ranked individuals participating in a race gather points for the team.

Example:
The drivers of the team "Minardi Helsinki", Wendigo, Xavier, Yyteri and Zorro, participate in a race. Xavier ranks 2nd, Yyteri 3rd, Zorro 4th and Wendigo 6th. Only the points of Xavier, Yyteri and Zorro are taken into account for the team points accumulation.

Player points

You gather points into your player profile for attending races and ranking well in races. The player points tell of your activity and dominance in the service. The accumulation of points has the following multipliers for different scenarios:

  • 10 x League races
  • 5 x Club races
  • 3 x Wildcard races
  • 3 x Hot lap challenge stints

In addition to these set multipliers, 5laps.com occasionally hosts endurance races and other special races where the multiplier may vary. The text on the race wall will always tell if the point accumulation differs from that of the aforementioned list.
