Doing a hot lap challenge is easy: you just choose a challenge you prefer and drive it! The required credits are charged from your account when you sign up for the challenge. After this a server is reserved for you for 30 minutes. Once you hit the track you have a 10 minute stint to drive your hot lap - exactly like in proofing in normal races.

Timing starts from the moment you first time come across the finishing line, that is to say once you begin your first hot lap. The hot lap challenge results are viewable from your profile page.

(Please take notice the 10 minute stint is a part of the 30 minute reservation. If you start driving 25 minutes after signing up for a challenge you only have 5 minutes left to finish your hot lap.)

Once you have a result, you can challenge your friends.

Challenging is the easiest with the "Challenge your friend" feature on the hotlap challenges page. Your friend will get the challenge which he may either accept or deny. Should your friend accept a challenge he will proceed as normally: the required amount of credits is charged from his/her account and he/she has a 10 minute stint at his/her disposal and a 30 minute reservation on a server starting from the moment of signing up for the challenge.
