Driving a hot lap challenge is easy - you choose whicever challenge might please you and simply have a go at it. The credits are deducted from your account upon signing up for the challenge after which you have a server reserved for you for 30 minutes. Once you get on the track you have 10 minute stint to improve your lap time - exactly like in proofing in a real race too.

Time keeping on the server begins (exactly like in proofing in races) on the moment you for the first time cross the finishing line, as in you start your hot lap. You can see the results of the challenges on your profile page.

Please take note the stint is part of the 30 minute reservation. If you begin to drive the challenge 25 minutes after reserving one, you only have 5 minutes of time to drive your hot lap.

Once you have a result you can challenge your friends to beat your time!

Challenging is easiest via the "Challenge a friend" feature on the "Hot lap challenge" page. Your friend will get a challenge which he/she can either accept or decline. A friend responding to a challenge is not treated specially in any way - credit requirements and time limitations apply.
